In particular, the study described the demographic characteristics of the respondents; identified types and sources of agricultural information disseminated through the media; described the role played by media organizations in enhancing agricultural productivity in the study area; identified the languages used by media organizations in disseminating agricultural information to farmers in Rivers State; determined the extent of agricultural information disseminated by media organizations in the study area; examined the extent to which agricultural information disseminated through media organizations enhanced agricultural productivity; and identified constraints facing media organizations in disseminating agricultural information to the farmers, in the study area.. 84 respondents of the media associations and eighty contact ranchers were chosen utilizing a multi-stage inspecting system.
